SYNOPSIS

A two-character play unfolding across parallel spaces, You Wanted Me to Write What I Know follows Lena, a sharp and outspoken college student, and Grant, the professor grading her assignment, as her feminist “open letter” becomes an unexpected dialogue between them. As their perspectives collide across time and distance, the play examines power, listening, identity, and the limits of academic objectivity in the wake of contemporary politics.
